Log-in to Vita

1. Navigate to vita.osu.edu.
2. Click the Sign-in link located at the top of the page.
3. Type in your lastname.# and university password.
4. You are now logged-in to Vita.

Sign-in and Activate Your Elements Account

Most Ohio State faculty who had a Research in View account will be automatically directed to their Elements account when clicking on Curate Elements Data. Your first steps in Elements will be to select your preferred records.

If you are new to the university or did not have a Research In View account, follow the directions below for activating your Elements account. These directions initiate the process of creating your Elements account if it does not already exist.

1. Navigate to vita.osu.edu.
2. Click on the Curate Elements Data link located on the homepage.

3. You will see a confirmation that the account creation request has been received and will process overnight.

After your account is available, your first steps will be to select preferred data sources.
