Embedded literacies

Three key literacy areas—advanced writing, data analysis, and technology—that are expected to be integrated, or embedded, across The Ohio State University's General Education (GE) program and developed throughout a student’s major coursework and undergraduate experience. The embedded literacies provide opportunities for students to develop specific communication, statistical, and technological skills relevant to their academic discipline.
