Embed a Mediasite Collection in Carmen

Mediasite will end the use of catalogs after AU21 finals. At that time, all catalogs will be converted to channels.

Users can embed Mediasite presentations or Mediasite collections (catalogs or channels) within Carmen using the Canvas integration.

  1. Login to Carmen and navigate to the appropriate course.

  2. Navigate to the rich content editor on a page, announcement, discussion post, assignment description, etc.

  3. Click the electrical plug (Apps) icon

    From the Rich Content Editor click the electrical plug (apps) icon

  4. Search for or scroll to and click the Mediasite link.

  5. Click Collection.

    Select "Collection"

  6. Use the search box to type the catalog or channel title or a portion of the catalog title or locate the catalog in the list. 

  7. From the Add to "Course Name" drop-down options, select Embed. 

    Under "Add to [Course Name]" click Embed


    There is a Link option, which will place a link to the collection in the page.

  8. Click Save. Canvas Save button
