Export Report Data

Export report data to an XML file formatted for Excel or a regular XML file, which allows you to present data in an alternative format to the reports provided in Mediasite. Exported data includes report criteria and results.

XML is an Extensible Markup Language. In short, this means XML is a flexible data-description language that can be easily customized. What does this mean for you? If you're familiar with XML, you can format the file to display it in various ways.

The Excel option within Mediasite is an XML file which has been formatted specifically for Excel.

Export results

Access the MyMediasite Portal.
Choose the appropriate presentation.
Click View Analytics.

Click on the Download Report drop-down menu.

Select the desired file format.

You must have Windows Office 2003 or later to open the downloaded Excel export file.
