Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Ally

Ally works seamlessly with Canvas to evaluate the accessibility of your course content. It scans your material and provides actionable guidance and tips to help you make lasting improvements to the digital accessibility of your course.

  • Receive feedback on the accessibility of your course material
  • Improve accessibility with Ally's in-system instructions

In addition to providing insights on your content's accessibility, Ally automatically creates alternative versions of files so students can choose the file type that best suits their needs. While you're in the process of remediating inaccessible files, your students can access accessible versions of those materials.

You can access Ally from within your course in Canvas.
