Using a course channel puts all of your instructional videos in a single location in CarmenCanvas that students can reference. Think of it as a library students can access as needed.
- To add a video into a course channel, you must first enable the Mediasite Videos navigation item in your CarmenCanvas course. Please refer to the Canvas guide on managing course navigation links for details on how to do so.
- Once enabled, click the Mediasite Videos link in your course navigation. This will create a "Module ID" in Mediasite (it has no relation to your Modules in Carmen). There won't be any videos in your channel yet.

- Next, access your My Mediasite portal by clicking the My Mediasite button on the home page of your course.
- Locate and click the title of your presentation, and then click Edit Details.

- Then, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Modules section and click the +Add Module button.

- Click the title of the class you want to share the recording with. Then click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

The recording will now be visible to you and the students when clicking the Mediasite Videos link in the course navigation. You can add a recording to multiple course channels by repeating this process for each course site where the Module ID has been generated.
