The work you do in PebblePad is not directly connected to any of your Carmen courses. If your instructor wants you to submit your asset (ePortfolio, a workbook you are working on or have completed, uploaded document, etc.) to an assignment, you will likely be submitting a URL within Carmen. Make sure to thoroughly read the assignment description so you know your teacher’s expectations.
Storing Assignments for Later Use
There may be ways to use your assignments that you can’t anticipate right now. So as you encounter opportunities to document your experiences, save them in your ePortfolio. As you are saving, add a meaningful title and description so you have context when using the assignment as an asset later.
You can also use tags to help you quickly identify where the asset fits into your General Education experience, major program, personal or professional development. Similar to social media platforms, you might choose to use preset tags shared by others or to create your own tags that are personally meaningful. You can tag one asset in multiple ways.
Later, when building ePortfolio projects or completing workbooks, you can expand on these descriptions for specific audiences by adding justifications or explanations that provide connections between assets and the skills or development you want to show.
