Create Accessible Lists in the RCE

Use the CarmenCanvas Rich Content Editor (RCE) to create different types of lists to group information according to its nature to provide context for learners.

  • Unordered lists are used when the order of the items is not relevant. Items in unordered lists are marked with a bullet point. This list is an example of an unordered list.
  • Ordered lists are used for sequential information and are automatically enumerated. The step-by-step directions below are an example of an ordered list.

Individual list items can contain a variety of elements, including paragraphs, headings, form elements, and other (nested) lists.

Create a list from existing text

  1. Highlight the text you would like to make into a list.

  1. Select the three dots icon
