The layout and color scheme for your site is decided by a preset template called a theme. Changing your theme is easy and allows for basic customizations of your site.

To change your theme:

1. Login to u.osu.edu and navigate to the dashboard of the site that you would like to edit.
2. Click Appearance from the left navigation. The Themes page appears, showing your active theme at the top left.
   The default theme for all U.OSU sites is OSU Light. Alternative themes are listed on the page.

3. To choose a new theme, hover over the theme and click Activate.

4. Once the activation is complete, a notification appears at the top of your screen with a link to visit your updated site. Click Live Preview to preview the change.

Longtime Wordpress users may notice that the list of available themes is limited. U.OSU is intended to meet general site creation needs for Ohio State faculty, staff, and students, rather than special and specific use-cases.
