During recording, overly-sensitive slide detection combined with frequent slide transitions in Power Point may cause presentations to have thousands of replicated slides. You can reduce the number of slides by rerunning slide detection.

1. Login to the MyMediasite Portal.
2. Choose the presentation you would like to access. The Summary page opens.
3. Click Edit Video.
4. Click Rerun Slide Detection from the Mediasite Editor top navigation. A pop-up appears.

5. Using the sliders, adjust the scan rate and image sensitivity.

6. Click Remove slide transitions to further reduce the number of replicated slides.
7. To run the slide change detection for only a portion of the presentation, select the presentation area. Then, click the Process selected region only checkbox. The results display when finished.
8. Click OK.

9. Once you finish your edits, click Commit. See Saving Changes for details.
